आफ़ताब की शीतल किरणें

जैसे हम आपके आग़ोश में
बूंदों की खनकती छम- छम
जैसे मदहोश होके गाए मेरा मन
रात की ये गहरी ख़ामोशी
जैसे साज़िश आपकी आँखों की
लहरों का किनारे से टकराना
जैसे मेरे दिल का मचल जाना
बहती पवन की सरसराती ठंडक
जैसे दो दीवाने दिलों की धक- धक
चाँद का बार- बार बादलों में छुपना
जैसे आपका मुस्कुराके नज़र फेरना
सुबह की पहली सुनहरी किरण
जैसे जीवन में प्रेम का आगमन

Do you know?

Do you know the sound of drifting dreams...
Have you felt the pain of shattering heart?
Do you know how lonely it feels...
When you lose the only hope you had?
When that faith is snatched away by fate...
And all you do is watch it leave!
Have you wondered how you are stuck in the moment...
While life rushes by around you?
Do you hear the footsteps marching away...
And you can't call them back?
Have you felt like a fool by being good...
While they had a great laugh at your candor?
Have you felt the absence of God...
When you thought at least He would stay?
 

The Crazy Writer...

When I sit down to write, I am lost in a totally different world...
The words flow out of my fingers and thoughts know no bounds...
I love there, as the world is my creation
I can do anything that I ever dream
Yet sometimes I get scared and stop
I don't let myself lose for too long
But I am a writer, all said and done
I will write till I have imagination
Worth putting on paper and sharing
I wish I die while I am busy writing...

न कुछ ख़बर हुई न एहसास हुआ

न कोई बात हुई न होश रहा
न कोई कसम खाई न वादा किया
न तुम कुछ बोले न दिल ने कुछ कहा

यूँ ही दिल में प्यार मचलने लगा

तुम्हारा साथ अच्छा लगने लगा
तुम ख़्वाबों में आकर सताने लगे
हम बेवजह मुस्कुराने लगे

दिलबर मेरी बाहों में आओ ज़रा

आँखों की मस्तियों को बढ़ाओ ज़रा
रूठे हुए अरमानों को मनाओ ज़रा
सोई हुई धड़कनों को जगाओ ज़रा

मेरी रूह को तुम आज छू लो

बाहों में मुझको तुम लो
बहकती साँसों को घुलने दो
दिलों को आज तुम मिलने दो
